As a Human Rights major or minor, you can:

Tuition-Based Program: Tuition-Based Programs charge in-state, New England Regional, and out-of-state UConn tuition rates based on students’ residency. Tuition charges will appear on students’ UConn fee bills, along with other UConn fees as listed on the program’s budget sheet. Students may pay housing through their UConn fee bill or directly to their host university depending on the program

University College Dublin (UCD), a member of Universitas 21, traces its origins to the Catholic University of Ireland, founded in 1854 by Cardinal John Henry Newman. UCD has played a pivotal role in Ireland’s development as a successful European state, with a rich tradition of scholarship and community service. Today, UCD is a modern, vibrant university located on a spacious, leafy campus just three miles south of Dublin city center. It offers a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment for both Irish and international students. The UCD Exchange Program is available to students in fields such as agriculture (including nutritional sciences), engineering, humanities, sciences, and social sciences, providing an opportunity for academic and personal growth in a dynamic setting.
Direct-Bill Programs: Direct-Bill Programs charge students directly for their program costs. Students pay the affiliate program directly for their fees, whereas other UConn fees will appear on students’ UConn fee bills as listed on the program’s budget sheet. SIT Study Abroad Morocco: Human Rights, Social Justice, and Cultural Transformation
Morocco, North Africa
This program explores the ongoing struggles for human rights and social justice in Morocco, shaped by the 2011 Arab Spring. Students will examine cultural shifts and modern movements advocating for change, focusing on gender, individual liberties, and political transformations. Through excursions to northern and southern Morocco, students will witness systems of power, inequality, and the grassroots organizations, including women-owned businesses and NGOs, working for social and environmental justice.
