Summer in Toulouse
Toulouse, France
The Toulouse Summer Program offers students a four-week immersive experience in South-Western France, earning 6-7 UConn credits. Students will explore French history and culture, engage with local and international peers, and discover a vibrant city known for its rich heritage and modern innovation through daily activities and site visits.
Winter Geoscience and Geohazards in Taiwan
Taipei, Taiwan
On this faculty-led program, students spend 3 weeks in Taiwan learning about field-based geological mapping and Chinese culture and history. The course will consist of a suite of weekly lectures and discussions starting halfway through fall semester and a 3-week trip to Taiwan where students will participate in 3 to 4 four-day mapping modules consisting of field mapping, data collection and synthesis. Students will be outdoors hiking and collecting data most of time while in Taiwan. Classroom lectures in the fall (at UConn) and in January (in Taiwan) will discuss fundamental geologic processes and how these processes lead to geologic hazards. Students will be in the field or classroom 8-10 hours a day with one day off each week.
Tuition-Based Program: Tuition-Based Programs charge in-state, New England Regional, and out-of-state UConn tuition rates based on students’ residency. Tuition charges will appear on students’ UConn fee bills, along with other UConn fees as listed on the program’s budget sheet. Students may pay housing through their UConn fee bill or directly to their host university depending on the program.
Honors Congressional Internship in Washington D.C

The Washington, D.C. Study Abroad Program offers UConn students a full-time, semester-long Congressional internship. Interns work alongside congressional staff, attending meetings, conducting research, assisting with constituent services, and gaining hands-on experience in the legislative process. Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or above, this unique opportunity provides valuable insight into the U.S. government and practical experience for students across all majors, especially those interested in political science, history, and law.

ISA: Semester at the American Business School Paris

The ISA Study Abroad program at the American Business School Paris (ABSP) offers students the opportunity to study business and humanities in the heart of Paris. Located in the lively 10th arrondissement near Canal Saint Martin, ABSP provides a diverse range of courses taught in English, including marketing, finance, management, accounting, and luxury retail management. Most classes take place at the Parodi campus, with select courses held at the Eaubonne campus outside the city. Accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, ABSP offers a globally focused academic experience in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
London with Internship Program

In partnership with AES, this fifteen-week program offers students of all majors the opportunity to study and intern in London. Participants gain practical experience through an unpaid internship of up to 20 hours per week while earning academic credit. Internships are typically with small to medium-sized companies, providing hands-on experience and skill development under the guidance of a dedicated supervisor. Alongside their internships, students take courses through AES, whose office is centrally located in Bloomsbury. A weekly work placement seminar supports professional growth, ensuring students gain a well-rounded understanding of the British workplace.
Direct-Bill Programs: Direct-Bill Programs charge students directly for their program costs. Students pay the affiliate program directly for their fees, whereas other UConn fees will appear on students’ UConn fee bills as listed on the program’s budget sheet. Be sure to review the program’s full costs on the provider’s own website. UConn is not responsible for those costs.
SIT Study Abroad Switzerland: Global Health and Development Policy
Geneva, Switzerland
The SIT Switzerland Global Health and Development Policy program offers students the opportunity to explore global health systems through the lens of international development, humanitarian action, human rights, and social justice. Based in Geneva, a hub for global health organizations, students engage with experts from institutions like the WHO and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The program includes an eight-day excursion to Morocco, where students compare public health systems in urban and rural settings. This immersive experience provides a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between health, policy, and sustainable development.
